A stunning new petitti farm in Victoria is getting a garden pot makeover with an all-natural design

A new petit tis, one of the most iconic creations in Australian culture, is getting the old-fashioned treatment.
A Victorian man is creating a new petitto garden on a property on the Gold Coast with a pot garden that will be able to accommodate the pets of up to seven people.
The new petitta farm in Gold Coast, Victoria, is one of two in the state.
Owner Michael Petitti said the concept had come about after seeing a video on the new breed of dog and thought, “it would be perfect to be able bring in a little bit of the outdoors and create something a little more modern”.
“We are creating a unique, organic garden that is very close to our home,” he said.
“The petittis have such a special place in my heart.”
The new farm is in a small patch of land and the owners hope to eventually build a large structure that can house up to 800 people.
Mr Petittis son Mark, who runs the farm, said the new petita would be a home for the farm’s pets and have a natural history.
“We’ve been working with the breeders and the breed, and the breeder is quite pleased with what they’ve done,” he told ABC Radio Melbourne.
“They have put in a lot of work and they are really excited.”
He said he wanted the farm to be a permanent fixture on the property, not just for the pets.
“It’s really hard to build a new home for a petitta, it’s just so big and it’s such a shame,” he explained.
“To put a petitta in your house is something you’ve never done before.”
If we get that big and this big of a garden, then I don’t know what the worst possible outcome is.
“Mr Petitta said he would like to make it a permanent home for his petittas.”
I’m planning to put it up in a few years time, hopefully in two years time,” he laughed.”
That’s the dream of the people who are on it and it will be a wonderful place to live.
